Sometimes life asks us to begin again.

Moving to a new country, facing a life transition, or feeling disconnected from yourself can bring uncertainty as well as opportunity. Through psychosocial counselling and Expressive Arts Therapy, I offer a compassionate and creative space where you can explore your experiences, reconnect with your inner resources, and discover new possibilities for growth. No artistic experience is required—only a willingness to explore.

What Is Expressives Art Therapy?

Expressive Arts Therapy is a creative approach that uses artistic expression to support self-discovery, emotional wellbeing, and personal growth. It brings together different art forms—such as drawing, painting, collage, clay, movement, writing, photography, imagination, and storytelling, to explore experiences that may be difficult to express through words alone.

At the heart of Expressive Arts Therapy is the understanding that creativity is a natural human capacity. The focus is not on artistic ability or creating aesthetically pleasing artwork, but on the creative process itself and the personal meaning that unfolds through it.

Creative expression can offer access to emotions, memories, inner resources, and new perspectives that may not yet be fully conscious. Images, colours, movement, and symbols become another language through which we can better understand ourselves and our experiences.

No artistic experience is required. Expressive Arts Therapy is for anyone who is curious to explore themselves through creativity in a safe and supportive environment.

My Approach

My work is grounded in Integrative Psychosocial Counselling (Lebens- und Sozialberatung) and enriched by the methodology of Expressive Arts Therapy.

I believe that every person carries an innate inner wisdom. Sometimes conversation is enough to reconnect with it; at other times, creativity opens a path to experiences, emotions, and insights that are difficult to reach through words alone.

As a licensed Psychosocial Counsellor and Certified Expressive Arts Therapy Creative Trainer, I integrate creative methods into the counselling process whenever they can best support your individual needs. Depending on your process, this may include painting, drawing, collage, clay, writing, guided imagination, meditation, stories, dreams, movement, or other expressive arts.

My approach is inspired by Jungian psychology, which understands images and symbols as meaningful expressions of our inner world. Rather than assigning fixed interpretations, we approach what emerges with openness and curiosity, allowing your own experience and understanding to guide the process.

Every counselling journey is unique. My role is to offer a safe, creative, and non-judgemental space where conversation and artistic expression work together to foster greater self-awareness, resilience, and personal growth.

What to Expect in a Session

Each session lasts approximately 90 minutes and takes place in a creative atelier, a welcoming and confidential space for reflection and creative exploration.

We begin with a conversation about what brings you to the session and the intention you would like to explore. From there, I may invite you into a creative process using materials such as paint, collage, clay, writing, or other expressive arts, sometimes supported by a short guided imagination or meditation.

After the creative work, we take time to reflect together on the experience and on what has emerged through the process. The artwork becomes a starting point for dialogue, helping to bring thoughts, emotions, patterns, and inner resources into awareness.

No artistic experience is needed, and your work is never judged or evaluated for its artistic or technical quality. The focus is always on the creative process, your personal experience, and the meaning that unfolds for you.

At the end of the session, you are welcome to take your artwork home or leave it safely stored in the studio until your next visit.
